We're very excited about the lovely Adam Fellows coming along to teach us a few of his chef secrets when he demonstrates how to make the perfect summer tarts, so hopefully he will throw in a few pastry secrets too.
The great thing about this event is that Adam is doing it all for charity. It will be taking place to help raise awareness of Bowel Cancer UK and celebrates the continuing success of The Great British Spelt Recipes collection: www.greatbritishspeltrecipes.com
This is an online resource of spelt recipes created by Sharpham Park in collaboration with Bowel Cancer UK and top chefs and foodies such as Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Gizzi Erskine, The Fabulous Baker Brothers, Sophie Michelle, Brendan Lynch and Rachel Green.
Adam is the head chef and owner of the popular and multi-award winning restaurant, Goodfellows, in Wells. It scores highly in the Good Food Guide and was its Somerset Restaurant of the Year in 2006. He has already achieved two red AA rosettes and placed on three occasions in The Times’ Top 10 Restaurants. In 2012 he was voted Best Local Chef in the food Reader Awards.
