Well hello there.
Well hello there.
I am regularly asked ‘what’s it like being married to Roger Saul?’ so when we started debating, rather heatedly, the look and feel of our Kilver Court blog I wondered if I dared hijack it and give any interested readers a sneaky look at what Saul/Kilver life is really like...we’re quite good at maintaining a smooth- looking surface but you can bet your bottom dollar our little feet are always paddling like mad underneath..
I’ll be posting whenever things get particularly crazy here, offering a taste of what it’s like working with my husband of thirty five years and son (Freddie) and letting you know when there are amazing new products, brands and deals available ... Plus maybe some reminiscences from the early Mulberry years. Let me know what you’d like to hear about and I’ll see what I can do.
Right now, it feels great to be back in the saddle after the Christmas break - I've got a fresh pad of paper, an un-chewed biro and an optimistic outlook lined up and ready to go, but blimey it aint half cold out there.
There’s nothing that makes a cold day in to a cosy one like the luxury of cashmere and we've got an 'up to 75% off' sale on at the moment making it available for everyone to enjoy. Hawick have got a gorgeous cable knit dress that's right up my street and lovely, soft scarves in the most stunning colours - bright green, yellow, russet, berry, viola, blackcurrant - the list goes on and on.
There are also some fab new cashmere brands in the Emporium – one of them called Goose – why? Should it not be called Goat? But I digress, the colours are subtle earthy mixes and great prices with accessories starting at £22. The perfect girl-friend birthday present.

Clearly the bright young thing above did not eat all the pies on Christmas day....but, for those of you out there who did (eat all the pies), then I can point you to a couple of stunning cashmere dresses by Semon – Santa Rog treated me to a beautiful black number with little beige revere collar– it skims the roly-poly bits and makes me feel a million dollars.
There’s lots other things to tell you about – one of our long-suffering team is trying to organise a wedding show; somebody else is cooking up a fashion event and of course there will be this amazing auction of the props from Stage 1 for Teenage Cancer Trust. All ‘Him Indoors’ ideas that the Kilver Fairies have to magic up at a few weeks’ notice...but hey ho! Now, where did I put that positive outlook....
