Obsessed with Sunspel

At Kilver Court we’ve loved Sunspel’s super soft cotton pieces for some time, but now we know they boast a fanbase including movie stars and rock royalty, they’ve been cemented as a firm favourite.

We’re big fans of the Rolling Stones, so when they took to the stage in Sunspel tees at Glastonbury Festival earlier this summer we thought it was time to get ours out too. And we’re glad we did. The band’s stylist William Gilchrist opted for Sunspel for a good reason: they produce the finest quality cotton goods, which have been produced in England since 1860 – and the experience really shows in the finish (even our grandmother’s would be impressed by the neat stitching!).

They’re well recognised for their attention to detail by established designers such as Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, but perhaps the highest accolade of all came when costume designer Lindy Hemming kitted Daniel Craig from head to toe in Sunspel for Casino Royale. While our average day doesn’t always consist of battling bad guys on the roof of a speeding train, or preventing terrorist attacks at international airports, it’s good to know that should we need to don Bond’s uniform we can, courtesy of Sunspel.
Unfortunately we can’t guarantee ladies falling at your feet a la 007, but we can offer men Sunspel boxers, cotton PJ trousers, polo shirts and casual tees – all up to 50% at Kilver Court. You can be as playful as you like, with Sunspel offering everything from embellished pockets and puppy prints, to wardrobe staples such as polos and fitted crew necks (in fact we spotted Daniel Craig wearing one in GQ mag too).
